Rae’s Revenge & Redemption: Command to Forgive – By Lavern Iverson
Rae’s revenge & redemption book is an ideal book
for anyone who is struggling to forgive people who have wronged him or her. The
author wrote the book in an intelligent and suspense manner. The book is so suspense
that I was glued to the screen when reading it; I did not stop reading until I
got to the end of story. I was not disappointed to see how the whole event
turned out to the glory of God. Our God is faithful!
There are many lessons to learn from this book; but
I would like to mention few of them:
The book makes us to understand that forgiveness is
not an opinion or optional; it is a command from the Almighty God. As the Lord
Jesus Christ forgives us our sins, He wants us to forgive other people also
unconditionally.
Each chapter of the book is ended with a Biblical
verse as “Food for Thought”; the lesson here is that Bible is relevant to our
daily lives.
The book shows us how Christian husband and wife
should handle issues in the way of the Lord; Matt and Rae are used in the book
to demonstrate this.
The book shows us how Christian in-laws should
relate with sons or daughters-in-laws and their own children by being prayerful
and give godly counsels to the couples; Rae’s parents are used in the book to
demonstrate this.
The book shows us how Christian friends should stand
with their friends during troubles; Harry and Judy are used in the book to
demonstrate this.
The book shows us how a Pastor should be loving and
caring over their church members; Pastor Allen is used in the book to
demonstrate this.
The book shows us how God does not allow an unrepentant sinner to go unpunished; Trish is used in the book to demonstrate this.
The book shows us how God does not allow an unrepentant sinner to go unpunished; Trish is used in the book to demonstrate this.
The book shows us how Christians should be faithful
and grateful for God’s love and His everlasting mercy; Matt, Rae, Rae’s
parents, Pastor Allen, Harry and Judy are used in the book to demonstrate this.
I strongly recommend this book for every Christian
to read. Thank you.
